Steve Marshall opened his first dealership in 1964 at age 19, making him the youngest dealer owner in history. Steve champions success, not just in business but in his service to the community. He was recognized in 2017 with the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce Governors’ Award for his leadership, and dedication to business and community. Steve is a proud supporter of junior hockey’s Campbell River Storm and other local sport initiatives. Steve is the CEO and namesake of the Steve Marshall Group.

Karl is the Chief Operating Officer of the Steve Marshall Group. He has received multiple awards throughout his career for his leadership in the automotive industry including, but not limited to, the 2021 Nissan Global Award of Excellence, 2020 Mazda Canada Dealer of Distinction Award, and a 2021 Ford Motor Company Presidents Award. Karl’s hard work and success drive his activism in community projects; from the BC Winter Games to the Campbell River Hospital, the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation to the Hospice Society and Minor Hockey, he contributes to a wide breadth of charitable initiatives ranging from sport, the environment, and healthcare. When Karl takes time away, he can be found off-road racing, skiing and spending time with his three children and family.

Dean is the Steve Marshall Group Chief Financial Officer. He’s been in the auto industry for more than 29 years. Dean doesn’t like to brag, so we’ll do it for him. He is a 15 year in a row Ford Accountant Honour Roll recipient and has multiple certifications. When Dean isn’t crunching numbers or spending time with family, you can’t find him as he’s playing outdoors or travelling.

Steve is a Partner with the Steve Marshall Group and responsible for Corporate Development. Born and raised in Kamloops, BC, Steve has spent over 30 years in the automotive business. Steve is very active in community service, having served on multiple boards including the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, Kamloops Hospice, the 2018 BC Winter Games, and Bighorn Golf Course to name just a few. Steve has also been recognized by the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce as Businessperson of the year. Steve enjoys golfing, skiing, softball, boating and travelling with his wife. But their pride and joy are their four grandchildren.

Andrea Gibbons

Having worked for over a decade with over 50 dealerships, Andrea is the Director of Operations with the Steve Marshall Group. Andrea has full command over both the left and right sides of her brain. She is educated in engineering planning, marketing, leadership, and more. She is a certified coach and loves to play pinball, and is a collector of small batch gin and scotch. Andrea has recently located to Kamloops from the Lower Mainland, BC and is in the process of renovating her new home.

Ryan is the Director of Fixed Operations with the Steve Marshall Group. Ryan worked himself up from the bottom of the automotive business learning each piece of the operation. Born in Surrey, BC, Ryan now lives in Victoria. When Ryan isn’t working he loves spending time with his young son and their ‘collection’ of dogs. As a practitioner of martial arts, Ryan’s dream vacation destinations include China, Thailand, and Bali.

Matt joined the Steve Marshall Group as the People and Culture Manager. Matt has led an exciting career that spans a number of industries. His specialties lie in the development of human resources and supporting growth with streamlined processes and policies. As a dog lover and owner of a German Shorthair Pointer, he volunteers his time with the SPCA and Heart and Stroke Foundation. Matt is also an avid hiker and runner and loves to travel.

As an enthusiast of all things automotive, Ryan is known among his peers as ‘The Car Guy’ and is always willing to share his knowledge with others. Born just outside Toronto, ON, Ryan spent most of his childhood in service garages, but realized his best skills were more applicable to the business side of the industry, and has been working in a Marketing capacity for multiple automotive groups since 2019. Now in the Beautiful British Columbia, you are likely to find Ryan spending time with his son, trying new foods, watching car shows, and likely looking at old cars for sale, (which he has no room to store them).

Amy, her husband Michael, and adult sons call Campbell River home. Amy keeps active as the Vice President of the Upper Island Counselling Society, and loves to be doing anything outside and near the ocean. From long weekend trips around Vancouver Island to walks on the beach or a good bonfire, Amy loves spending time exploring near and far.

Steve is the Operating Partner of Rivershore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. With over 30 years in the automotive business, Rivershore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is the Steve Marshall Group’s newest automotive and recreational vehicle business acquisition. Steve is a homegrown Kamloops businessman. He started his career in the Kamloops automotive business, growing to ownership of two locations before selling. Steve is now a partner with the Steve Marshall Group and responsible for Corporate Development. Steve is very excited about furthering his impact in the Kamloops community and area.

Mike is the Operating Partner of North Island Nissan in Campbell River, BC. Mike began his career in 2004 as a salesman with Steve Marshall Ford. Mike is married to Carla who he has the pleasure of working with each day. They have 4 sons whom they love watching play rep soccer and hockey. When Mike isn’t working, he likes to play Slo-pitch and go camping with the family. Mike has lived most of his life in Campbell River and hopes to turn his passion for cars into a collection…but don’t tell Carla.

Sean is the General Manager of Courtenay Nissan and a Managing Partner with the Steve Marshall Group. He is a multi-award winner having received 2 Gold and 1 Silver Nissan Club Excellence Awards and a Nissan Global Award of Excellence. Sean is Comox born and bred. He loves the auto industry almost as much as he loves spending time with his family. When Sean isn’t working, he can be found hiking, rock climbing or visiting with friends and family in his hometown.

Benjamin Coyle has been helping people purchase new and preowned vehicles since 2012 in Campbell River, BC. In 2017 Benjamin opened Island Owl Truck and Auto Sales Ltd. which merged with Coastline Mazda in 2020 and became Island Owl Mazda in 2020 as part of the Steve Marshall Group. He is a member of the multiple DeLorean and other unique car clubs and shows his own heavily modified DeLorean. Ben say’s that if he was an Owl, he would be the horned owl as it closely matches the Owl Mazda logo and his wild hair.

Marc is the Operating Partner of Titanium Ford in Surrey, BC. With three decades in the automotive industry Marc loves anything that moves fast. Marc’s garage is filled with motorcycles and not much else. From skiing to riding dirt bikes, surfing to racing trophy trucks, he has a passion for speed. Marc is a Freemasonry and a member of the Blue Mountain Motorcycle Club.

Shane is the General Manager of Steve Marshall Ford. Born in Whitehorse, Shane and his family moved to Campbell River when Shane was a child. Shane has over 25 years in the auto industry. As a once CPGA professional golfer, Shane still loves the game. When he’s not working or on ‘a course’ Shane can be found fishing and spending time with his family.

Born in Nanaimo, Aron’s family moved to Campbell River where he graduated Carihi Secondary School and has never wanted to leave. Aron has over 2 decades in the automotive business, and he is President of Pacific Nations Auto Sales. Aron’s charisma and leadership is evident on the lot and on-stage. As an amateur actor, Aron enjoys performing when he gets the opportunity at River City. Aron is married and has a precious young daughter and 2 protective dogs who love to hike, fish and camp together.

His love of work and golf almost equals that for his wife Lynda. Together, prior to the Pandemic, Cory and Lynda worked closely with Special Needs adults. Family and building community are extremely important to them both.

Hayley has been a leader in customer service for more than 30 years and with the Steve Marshall Group for over a decade. Hayley is a board member with Cameryn’s Cause for Kids Society, a registered, non-profit in Campbell River, with a mandate to provide financial assistance to local families with a child facing a health crisis. When Hayley takes time away from work, she enjoys spending it with her family, and being outdoors in the garden, camping or kayaking.

Daniel is the Dealer Principal of Kelowna RV’s and has been in the automotive business for over a quarter century. He is an avid hockey fan. He spends his time on and off the ice playing and coaching during hockey season, and hunting, cycling, and motorcycling during the rest of year. Daniel is married to Nicole and has 2 grown sons.
